About Mark Mroczkowski
I am an experienced businessman, advisor, and entrepreneur with 40 plus years’ experience arranging deals and representing business owners. As a Managing Director at Chapman Associates, I focus on information technology, general aviation, B2B products and services, and manufacturing & distribution because of my hands-on experience.
I was engaged in public accounting practice for the first half of my career, specializing in audit, tax, and financial consulting for privately owned and publicly traded corporations. I have also been instrumental to my clients in procuring corporate equity, debt, and project finance and consulting on M&A assignments. For the next 20 years, I was in the Technology, Internet, and Oil & Gas industries as the Chief Financial Officer of three different publicly traded companies. In those capacities, I worked on more than 16 acquisitions, mergers, and divestitures in Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Florida, Wyoming, Australia, China, and South Africa.
I have been the owner of a CPA firm, an equipment leasing company, co-owner of an independent oil & gas producer, an import-export firm, a beer distributorship in Moscow, Russia, and an independent consultant to several different industries.
I am a Florida State University College of Business graduate, a Florida Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor (CM&AA), and a Florida Licensed Real Estate Broker. I am an avid aviator with over 5,200 hours of flight time. I hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate with ratings in single and multi-engine airplanes and seaplanes, helicopters, gyroplanes, gliders, and balloons and instrument ratings in airplanes and helicopters.
